The classic first-person shooter Quake II is being ported to the PSP. Since older Quake games are available under a free software license, this port is legal — but it requires a homebrew-ready PSP. Controls for the game use both the on-board buttons and the buttons on the PSP’s remote. The first public version does not have a specific release date, only “some days later” than January 1. [via]
