Sony talks future PSP functionality

Izumi Kawanishi, head of SCE software platform development, recently gave an interview to Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu in which he discussed some of the functionality that is hopefully coming in future firmware updates. Kawanishi mentioned the ability to use the Wi-Fi connection for both Ad-Hoc and Infrastructure modes simultaneously. Streaming video content is another possible addition, along with some sort of voice or video email client. No time frame was given for any of these new features appearing in an update.
