Sony offers Portable TV rentals for PSP

Sony has launched a Portable TV rental service for the PSP in Japan. Owners are able to download current episodes of TV shows, music videos and trailers, and other video programming from Sony’s website onto a Memory Stick. The downloads are priced at $1-$3 each, but are only usable for a limited time — normally between one and two weeks. There has yet to be an announcement concerning the services future availability in other markets.
