"Using the PSP's browser and internet connection, SkipJam iMedia users can now control any device in their home. The SkipJam iMedia software provides custom web pages which allow the PSP to function as a wireless remote for TVs, DVDs, Stereos, lighting and other consumer electronics throughout the home."

With this new option, SkipJam iMedia users can use the PSP to browse through their digital recorded content and select music, photos or videos to play in any room. Favorite song play lists DVDs or recorded TV shows and movies can be "bookmarked" for quick access, and users can easily switch playback to and from any room with the iMedia "follow me" feature.

The PSP Interface requires PSP firmware version 2.0 available from Sony at no charge, and is available to SkipJam users as a free upgrade. Existing users can upgrade their firmware, and new products will incorporate the PSP interface option at no additional cost.
