Sony is reportedly planning to debut a silver version of the PSP.

"No price or date has been mentioned and Sony has yet to officially announce anything, although reading between the lines, it’s not beyond the realm of possibility that the Japanese hardware giant is planning such an action — with the DS now boasting a healthy lead over the PSP in Japan, releasing a special edition PSP could be just the ticket to get the machine back on track, given the past successes of special edition consoles such as the Dreamcast and PS2 over there."
