Those with weak stomachs should avert their eyes now. Seth Fogie of Informit.com has dismantled his PSP to see what makes the device tick. His step-by-step guide (with photos) shows anyone crazy enough how to take apart their PSP.
"Now, please note that this can result in many bad things. One small slip and your PSP will be a $200 paper weight. And if you are thinking, 'well I'll just take it back,' think again. There is really no easy way to get inside without voiding the warranty... With this thing taken apart, I can now start looking for ways to modify it for various functions. My ideas are to increase the Wi-fi strength with an external antenna and perhaps alter the shell a bit to allow me to raise the screen for on-the-desk viewing. Other enhancements could be to add a bigger screen, or maybe even some sort of input device."
