Pspe3-1Last week's E3 expo brought us a lot of exciting PSP news. So much news, in fact, that it was easy to miss something. Then there was also the prospect of three new consoles to contend with, two of which confirmed PSP integration of one sort or another. Not to fear, as we've posted this round-up (complete with small photo gallery) to serve as a kind of Cliff's Notes version of the overwhelming hype that was E3.

There wasn't as much going on in the world of PSP accessories, but what was announced looked to be some very strong additions to the market. Oh, and we'll finally be able to get our hands on 2GB Memory Sticks sometime this summer.

Console News

There was huge news on the console front as all of the big three announced new consoles, and Nintendo also added another portable to their lineup with the Game Boy Micro. We have yet to get all the facts on just how the PSP will be utilized on the PS3, but the options are fairly open and we can only hope that the game developers out there are looking to do some amazing things with this connectivity. As a side note, what is up with the PS3 using the font from the Spider-Man movies?
