A $199 PSP package may be in the works, according to retailers that are already stocking the same accessories contained in the value pack, Punch Jump reports. This would give the North American market two PSP packages similar to the ones offered in Japan. The current PSP Value Pack contains the PSP, headphones w/remote, a case, battery pack, 32MB Memory Stick Duo, charger, demo UMD, and for a limited time, "Spider-Man 2" on UMD. This new pack would likely include only the PSP, battery, and charger, leaving the rest for the consumer to buy. Sony has not yet released an official response on this matter.
