Your PSP as a travel guide, Lonely Planet style

lonely-planet-t.jpg

Travel books publisher Lonely Planet and Sony Computer Entertainment Australia have teamed to turn your PSP into a portable travel guide by offering formatted interactive, handheld city guides for purchase and download starting at the end of September. The new “Passport to…” guides will initially launch to cover six European cities and will bring together a mix of film, audio, photography and travel content. Features will include 250 Lonely Planet reviews, interactive maps, three off-the-beaten-track audio tours to key areas of each city, itineraries covering interests from arts tours to gastronomic experiences and an essential language phrase guide with audio playback. Users will also be able to download updates for their guides to keep the content fresh.
