Which Sony PS Vita Games Are Selling The Best In Japan

The Sony PS Vita launched in Japan with a pretty stellar line-up of games, headlined by none other than Uncharted Golden Abyss, arguably the top game at launch for the next-generation handheld. Has that hype transferred over into sales for the new handheld though?

Media Create has released the rankings in terms of which games are currently selling the best in Japan on the Sony PS Vita, and what they have revealed may actually surprise you.

The games that released with the PS Vita were pretty solid, including Hot Shots Gold 6, Uncharted Golden Abyss, Dynasty Warriors Next, Ridge Racer, and others.

What Media Create has revealed though is that it was none other than Hot Shots Gold 6 which took the top prize as the best-selling Sony PS Vita game at launch.

Hot Shots Golf 6 managed to sell 61,500 units on launch week, beating out Uncharted Golden Abyss which sold 48,200 units.

This was followed up by Dynasty Warriors Next which sold roughly 29,200 units. The top 5 were rounded out with Lord of Apocalypse and Disgaea 3 Return. The full top 10 list is below.

It will be interesting to see how this translates when the next-generation handheld launches in the U.S. in February.
