Where You Can Play The Sony PS Vita Before Launch

Sony is knee deep in preparation for the launch of the Sony PS Vita in the U.S., and will kick things into the next gear by allowing gamers to play the next-generation handheld prior to launch.

The Sony PS Vita will launch on February 22, 2012, and there are many gamers in the U.S. who simply cannot wait to get their hands on the new handheld.

Sony will be giving gamers the chance to get to test-drive the Sony PS Vita in select cities as they are bringing the PS Vita on tour across the U.S.

The hands-on demos will take place in the cities of Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Miami, as well as New York City.

These sessions are going to be called the Vita Hill Social Club, and will showcase the PS Vita along with free food, shirts, as well as contests that will allow someone to actually go home with a PS Vita prior to launch.

This should be a very strong series of events for Sony as it is going to allow gamers to truly get their hands-on the next-generation handheld.

There is no word yet on exactly what games are going to be available, but one could assume Uncharted Golden Abyss will likely be heavily on display.

For those of you who want to take part in the upcoming events, which will be held on either Tuesday January 17th or Wednesday January 18th, you have to go to the official PlayStation blog and RSVP, that way Sony knows how much food and t-shirts to get!
