Undead Knights Announced for PSP

There is a certain soft spot in our hearts for the only zombie action game so far released on the PSP, Infected. That game combined frantic third-person shooting with a race against the clock, as more and more portions of a city became infected by a zombie horde. Combining clever gameplay, smart controls, and a good amount of gore, Infected was pretty near to arcade bliss on Sony's handheld.

Unfortunately, Planet Moon Studios never saw fit to release a sequel to their first game, so we have been left zombie-less on the PSP for the past few years. Finally, Tecmo is poised to remedy this distinct lack of brrrraaaaaiiiinss with their newly announced and self-explanatory title, Undead Knights. Since we all know that zombies are awesome, and knights are awesome, combining them is somewhat of a no-brainer, really. If you don't believe us, check out the first cinematic trailer below. In this multiplayer action title, players will actually get to control their own army of undead. Look for it to arrive in Japan and North America later on in 2009.
