The PSP Video Delivery Service allows users to purchase, download and watch a wide selection of movies on their Sony handhelds or PS3 consoles. This week, the company announced a great deal for UK fans of horror movies. If all the talk of tinsel and snowmen is getting you down, SCEE is offering the perfect antidote to festive madness. Most cinema experts would agree that each of these movies is terrible, but cult horror fans will find that they are bad in just the right way. From today until the 23rd December the following selection of so-bad-they're-good horror movies will be available for only 99p.

Candyman II: Farewell to the Flesh (1995)

The mythical hook-armed Candyman returns in this sequel set in New Orleans during Mardi Gras. The Tarrants are an old-money family. When the father succumbs to the wicked vengeance of the mythical killer, daughter Annie studies everything she can about the legend of Candyman to empower herself so that she can defeat the evil of the undead.

Evil Behind You (2006)

When two couples find themselves inexplicably locked in an observation room, they realize they've been the unwitting recipients of a mysterious type of surgery. Things become even more complicated and frightening when they begin to the feel the presence of something dark and malevolent in the room with them. Hillary Kennedy and Gwendolyn Murphy star in this tense psychological horror film.

Poltergeist III (1988)

Carol Anne has been sent to live with her Aunt and Uncle in an effort to hide her from the clutches of the ghostly Reverend Kane, but he tracks her down and terrorizes her in her relatives' apartment in a tall glass building. Will he finally achieve his target and capture Carol Anne again, or will Tangina be able, yet again, to thwart him?

Poltergeist III is widely considered to be one of the worst movies of all time.
