Square Enix Reveals TGS 2008 Lineup

The Tokyo Game Show, which is set to begin on October 10, is to the country of Japan what E3 is to America and Leipzig is to Europe. Japan's largest hardware and software manufacturers will gather for the massive event, which combines industry meetings and open, public demonstrations of upcoming titles. As the premier publisher of Japanese RPGs, Square Enix will be there in full force this year, showing off their many upcoming games for handheld and home consoles. Today, they revealed the full list of games that will be making a showing this year, and we have translated it for you below. Among the highlights for the PSP system are Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep and Final Fantasy Dissidia, which will both be playable at the event. Sadly, some high-profile games like Dragon Quest IX and Final Fantasy XIII will not have demos available on the show floor.
