Sony updates PSP firmware to version 2.82

It is PlayStation Portable firmware update time again for all you fanboys out there - this time we are up to version 2.82 which is available for download either through the Sony Web site or through the PSP's Network Update feature. This looks to be a minor update addressing "security vulnerabilities in the system software". While its not clear exactly what those are, homebrewers are generally being advised on PSP fan sites to think twice before downloading this firmware update until a hack is out for it.
