Sony Releases Official Firmware 4.01

Sony made a small update to the official PSP firmware today. Users can now upgrade to version 4.01, which ads a couple of minor fixes. There is no word yet on whether this verison also contains anti-piracy measures, as many previous firmware updates have done.

Changes in version 4.01:

Display of search results under Internet Search has been improved for certain languages.

Playback of video content under video has been improved for certain file types.
