Sony: No PlayStation Portable price cut planned

Sony, speaking with Reuters yesterday, said they do not plan to cut the price of the PlayStation Portable for the remainder of this year. John Koller, a product manager at Sony Computer Entertainment, told the news agency “we don't necessarily see the need to cut the price. We need to offer broader value and introduce new consumers to what the PSP can do." In the same interview, he also said there will be about 110 new titles before year’s end and that Sony would soon show how the PSP works hand in hand with the PlayStation 3.
