Sony drops first batch of PSP downloadable games

Sony announced today the availability of new downloadable gaming content through the online PlayStation Store which can be enjoyed with a PlayStation Portable. Those who pay for and download a select group of classic PlayStation titles from the PlayStation Network to their PlayStation 3 will be able to transfer those games onto the PSP to enjoy via emulation. This initial batch includes Cool Boarders, Crash Bandicoot, Hot Shots Golf 2, Syphon Filter and Tekken 2, all priced at $5.99 each. Additional first and third-party PlayStation titles will be added on an ongoing basis to the PlayStation Store to keep, with a second batch of PlayStation titles slated for release later this month.
