Shadow of Destiny Planned for PSP

Konami has announced that its under-appreciated 2001 gem, Shadow of Destiny, will be getting a PSP port later this year. In Japan, the game was known as Shadow of Memories, and featured a cerebral, time-travelling storyline with multiple endings.
The company has launched a Japanese-language website for the game, which will launch this October 1st. Hopefully an English-language version will be forthcoming as well.

The story begins with the main character, Eike, being murdered in a small pastoral German town of Lebensbaum. In order to "solve" the mystery of his own death, Eike spends the game hopping backwards in time, visiting Lebensbaum at various periods during the town's mysterious history. The players actions can change the course of the future, and there are about ten different endings to explore. Shadow of Destiny is a pure adventure game in the tradition of titles like Fahrenheit, Time Hollow and Nikopol: Secrets of the Immortals. There are no action elements in the game, but each chapter has a time limit, during which the main character Eike has to find a way to prevent the murderer from killing him.

The original PS2 game was fairly well received by critics, with most praising the intriguing storyline and multiple endings, despite the shortness of the main quest and clunkiness of some of the controls.

I think I played this on PS2 as a kid. I remember being restricted from leaving streets by ... a girl and a dog? I also remember being told by a fortune teller to go to a public place to avoid getting killed?
