Rescuers Send PSP Systems to Trapped Miners

Have you and your friends ever played that game where you have to decide what 5 video games you'd choose if you were ever marooned on a desert island (that just happened to have electricity)? Well, it's no game for the 33 miners trapped underground in Copiapo, Chile. The men, who've been trapped since a collapse in the mine on August 5th, have been given PSP handelds to help pass the time while they wait for rescue. The PSP systems were passed down a bore hole only 7 cm in diameter, which is also being used to send food, water and medication to the stranded mine workers.

Crews are currently digging a larger hole to get the miners out, but it may take several months to reach them.

What PSP games would you most want to have on hand if you were trapped in a similar situation? I'd go with Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, Gran Turismo, Metal Gear Solid: Peacewalker, Persona 3 and Medal of Honor: Heroes, all of which provide nearly endless amounts of replayability.

Some players have put more that 100 hours into Monster Hunter. Not bad for a handheld game.
