PSP pulls off a first ever sales lead in Japan

Sales in Japan of the Bandi PSP title SD Gundam G Generation Portable were apparently enough to push the Sony portable gaming device into a first ever number one position in Japanese games sales, according to Gamasutra. Sales of PSP hardware apparently also reached a new weekly high, though they still lag behind the Nintendo DS.
