PSP Newest "Greatest Hits" Are Actually Great!

Sony announced at a press conference PSP's newest upcoming "Greatest Hits." The ironic twist about these "hits" - they're actually "great" games.

"Continuing the momentum established last month at Destination PlayStation, Sony Computer Entertainment America today announced the newest games to achieve Greatest Hits status for PSP system," shares GamePro Staff. Available April 5, 2009, these 10 "Greatest Hits" priced at $19.99 are:

God of War: Chains of Olympus (SCEA)
Fight Night Round 3 (EA)
Medal of Honor Heroes 2 (EA)
Mortal Kombat: Unchained (Midway)
Patapon (SCEA)
SOCOM U.S. Navy Seals: Tactical Strike (SCEA)
SpongeBob SquarePants: The Yellow Avenger (THQ)
Sonic Rivals 2 (Sega)
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 (Ubisoft)
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas (Ubisoft)

Additionally, we hope these "hits" become available to the PlayStation Network (PSN), despite PSN's bandwidth fees to publishers, and not solely in their usual, proprietary Universal Media Disc (UMD) format. Why? The rumored PSP 2 (PSP-4000) allegedly ditches the optical drive for a hard-drive 'slash' memory stick based portable gaming system.

Also, PSP "Greatest Hits" arrive in-time for a fantastic, yet casual Easter gift. We recommend "God of War: Chains of Olympus" or "Mortal Kombat: Unchained." If these bloody, arm-ripping titles are too sacrilegious for gifting considering the holiday, we also recommend Patapon. Warning, prepare to sing Patapon's little ditties all day.

Stumble It!
