PSP has higher adoption rate then Nintendo DS

Here is one of the more interesting spins we have seen in awhile on the PlayStation Portable versus Nintendo DS battle. SCEA vice president Jack Tretton, in an interview with GameDaily Biz, is pretty much quoted as saying the PSP is beating out the DS in “adoption rate” over the latter’s first 17 months. He feels Nintendo is losing “some of their core audience” and that the PSP will “dip down to the younger consumer eventually and we'll ultimately appeal to that vastly Earth wide audience we carved out with the original PlayStation”.
