Phantasy Star Portable English Trailer
Are you as curious as we are to check out the new Phantasy Star Portable from Sega? Well, a new english-language trailer has been released, and it reveals some details about the upcoming PSP title. Phantasy Star Portable is essentially a port of the recent online game, Phantasy Star Universe. The PSP title adds some additional story as well as multiple endings, but the overall experience will remain the same as the 2006 PS2 game. Online will be accomplished over local wifi, but we imagine that this limitation can be overcome thanks to the new PS3 tunneling feature.
We know that true Phantasy Star fans prefer the earlier "Online" titles to PSU, but this PSP translation seems to add enough new content that it may surprise skeptical fans. The game has been out in Japan since July, but North American gamers will be able to pick it up on March 24, 2009.
