Pangya Fantasy Golf Ships to US Retailers

Despite all of the amazing PSP games announced at E3 this year, the calendar of current game releases has remained painfully thin. If you are looking for something to pop in your PSP this summer, why not try Pangya Fantasy Golf? This lighthearted sports title is something of a cross between Virtua Tennis, Hot Shots Golf and Dead or Alive Beach Volleyball. It combines colorful graphics, upgradable player skills and network play with a simple but solid underlying golf mechanic. It is based on a very popluar online game where players could improve their avatar through items and skill upgrades. The game, which is arriving next week, has a MSRP of $29.99, and you can pre-order it here.

Set on nine fantasy fairways on the mythical Pangya Island, Pangya: Fantasy Golf encourages players to practice and perfect their swing using a variety of unlockable golf clubs and golf balls. Players will collect the currency known as Pang to purchase items from the in-game Pangya Shop and customize as many as 18 playable characters and their golf equipment with thousands of unlockable accessories, outfits, gear and power items to improve their golfer's stats and land that elusive hole-in-one. Multiple gameplay modes including Story, Free Round, License, Tournament and Network Mode offer an engaging and varied golf experience. Additionally, Network Mode allows the ultimate golfer to connect with up to eight players and compete against them in either single or team-based tournaments.
