New PSP 2.1 speaker system debuts from Gear4

A new 2.1 stereo speaker system is hitting store shelves overseas soon for the PlayStation Portable. The Gear4 SonicBoom reportedly “packs a big audio punch” via unique sub-woofer technology. The speaker system offers PSP users the ability to dock their portable gaming device with it or make use of a long cable connection. As an added bonus the speaker system can also charge the PSP while it is attached. It comes in white or black color choices and looks like it will be available come mid-September.
