NEW "NEGOTIATION AND SUMMONING" TRAILER RELEASED FOR SHIN MEGAMI TENSEI: PERSONA 2: INNOCENT SIN FOR PSP SYSTEM

ATLUS today released a new "Negotiation and Summoning" trailer for the highly anticipated Shin Megami Tensei®: Persona®2: Innocent Sin for PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) system, the one entry in the publisher's acclaimed Persona series of roleplaying games never to be released outside of Japan.
The new trailer shows off the title's deep and addicting Demon Negotiation and Persona Summoning features. Players will have opportunities to talk to hostile demons they encounter in battle, potentially persuading them to avoid conflict, give them assistance, or even getting them to provide a special card that lets the player summon new Personas with unique abilities. The unpredictable nature of many of the demons, combined with the many available negotiating tactics, makes for an incredibly nuanced sub-game and offers players tremendous depth and replay value.
Over 12 years in the making, the official localization of Innocent Sin provides patient fans with a dark RPG epic about reality being twisted by rumors and high school students who must draw on their inner strengths, their Personas, to bring back order. Taking advantage of PSP system's 16:9 aspect ratio, higher resolution display, superior audio, and increased horsepower, this remastered version of one of the pinnacles of ATLUS' flagship Shin Megami Tensei franchise delivers the game in style with a sleek new interface, new sidequests in the Climax Theater, and the player's choice of the fully remixed or original soundtrack.
Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 2: Innocent Sin for PSP system is currently scheduled to release in North America on September 20. Each and every launch copy of Innocent Sin will be a special boxed release with a bonus 10-track music CD featuring a mix of songs from the game's moody and haunting soundtrack. Fans are strongly urged to pre-order as supplies will be limited.

About SMT: Persona 2: Innocent Sin
The story takes place in Sumaru City, Japan, population 1,280,000. Its protagonist attends Seven Sisters High School ("Sevens" for short), whose emblem is considered a status symbol even amongst students from other schools. Soon, though, a rumor that Sevens' emblem was actually cursed, and that wearing it would disfigure one's face, had spread around the city.
Even worse, the rumor came true...
And it was only the beginning of a string of rumors becoming reality, one after another...
Before long, the protagonists discover the power to summon another side of them called "Personas," which they use to investigate the strange incidents around the city, all while facing their own personal demons as well. Time is once again on the march...
Key Features
