ModNation Racers Road Trip In Jeopardy On PS Vita

One of the bigger launch releases for the upcoming Sony PS Vita was none other than the upcoming ModNation Racers Road Trip. The developers of the game have confirmed some information though that is putting the success of the game in jeopardy.

ModNation Racers has been a highly-successful franchise for Sony and the PlayStation brand overall, enjoying a very high level of success on the Sony PS3 and Sony PSP.

There have been some tidbits of information that have been missing in regards to the game though as it approaches launch day next month.

One of these tidbits of information was clarified on the official PlayStation Europe blog, and the gaming community will not be happy with what has been revealed.

The developer of ModNration Racers Road Trip on the Sony PS Vita has confirmed that there will be no support of online play, nor will there be support of the popular ModSpot mode in the PS Vita version of the game.

This means that you will not be able to race gamers online on the PS Vita like you were able to in the franchise's past releases.

This is a huge blow to the upcoming release as online racing was always one of the major selling points of the franchise.

The only way you will be able to play friends on the PS Vita is through ad hoc support.
