Sierra Entertainment, part of Vivendi Games, said yesterday Miami Vice The Game ($39.99) was now available in stores exclusively for the PlayStation Portable. In Miami Vice The Game players engage in a third-person action shooter inspired by the newly release movie of the same name. In the role of narcotics officers Sonny Crocket and Ricardo Tubbs, players, according to the press release, follow a storyline set just before the events of the film. Gamers must build a reputation so they can get inside the organization of an "untouchable" South American drug lord. Gamers can choose to play as either Crockett or Tubbs, or team up via wireless to play each mission cooperatively. Players take on the enemy in varied locations with an array of weapons including high-speed chases through Miami's waterways while engaging in boat-to-boat shootouts.
