List of Xperia Play Launch Games

The Sony Ericsson Xperia Play gaming mobile launched in the UK today, and it comes with a whopping 60 launch titles, mostly made up of classic PlayStation 1 games (Crash Bandicoot!), as well as bite-sized mobile games ported over to the system. Scroll all the way down to the bottom of this post for a video demonstration of these launch games in action.\n\nBuyers of the Xperia Play get 6 games for free with the phone, some of which come pre-installed. You won't find many PSP titles on the system (yet) although Sony says this is a distinct possibility for the future. What we have here is more of an uber gaming phone, complete with the full control scheme and shouter buttons that we know and love. Some games take additional advantage of the touch-enabled screen of the device during play, making it somewhat more enhanced than a regular PSP. There is even a touch-sensitive pad to allow for analog input. Hopefully game developers will start taking advantage of this new platform and bring out some games that really put the \"PlayStation\" back into the \"Xperia Play\" brand.
