Indiana Jones PSP Debut Trailer

We hate to say it, George Lucas, but this new trailer for the upcoming PSP/Wii/DS title Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings looks like a lot more fun than the abomination that was Crystal Skull. Long rumored to have been cancelled, LucasArts surprised us by releasing this brand new teaser trailer for the game over the weekend. It turns out that only the Xbox 360 and PS3 Indiana Jones projects were canned, after all.

As with most LucasArts games, a gerat deal of effort has been put into the cinematics here. While we don't know much about the gameplay on any of the platforms, the trailer gives a clue as to some of the environments that Indy will visit in his quest to retrieve the Staff of Kings. It appears as if an asian city from the 1940s will feature prominently in the story, as well as the familiar jungle, nazi airship and underground ruins from previous Indiana Jones adventures.

As long as there aren't any invaders from outer space or annoying sidekicks whose names start with Shia and end with Labeouf, We will be happy.
