Happy New Year to all of the PSPworld readers! Yes I am back and for good this time around to bring you more of what you want to know dealing with news and game reviews. A new year means new beginnings, also correcting some mistakes. That actually brings me to the PSP, which some of you already know is one great handheld system with official and unofficial capabilities. One major add on was the backwards ability of playing PSX games.

Basically the point I am trying to make is that Sony needs to get on the ball with more PS games ported through the Playstation Network. Even though it is wishful thinking to ask for ad hoc with the PSX titles, however it should not be that difficult to offer it. Even though some people believe that moving forward is the only key, however it would be great as a handheld to have Rival Schools, Xenogears, Heart of Darkness, WIld 9 just to name a few games. Unofficially I have witnessed these games in action and they work like a charm. All this coming from the great readers and hackers out there that in their own way love the Sony system.

Now I know what some of you might be thinking, "Is he really agreeing with hackers?" To answer that question not entirely, but I do like that they think about what people enjoy the most by taking the time to make the eboots required for others to enjoy the old classics. When Sony decided to abandon backwards compatibility for the PS3 some didn't care but others like me were a bit down about it. Yea next gen consoles should support the next gen games, but come on who doesn't like to play the classics now and than? Same reason why people re-buy old vhs into DVDs which now have to get blu-ray or HD; however they do support DVD as well.

You are not going to lose out on money corporate America because the consumer already dishes enough money for your belly's to stay full. You already made the smart move of adding the themes to the new update. That is a good start, just keeps the customization and downloads coming. You don't make a Ferrari and expect to go only 35 miles per hour when the thing can shoot up to 120 mph. So do what you have to my gaming comrades; send out petitions, scream on blogs, and just get the message out that you want more for your PSP's. If this works we might have some fun on X-Men vs. Street Fighter one day and let’s hope it is the euro version since the American version took out the switching of characters. All right gamers glad to be back and keep reading stay frosty!
