God of War PSP Rumored to Get a Sequel

Followers of the God of War series may now rejoice. Your blood sacrifices worked. Your prayers have been answered. Ares will grant his faithful worshipers yet another blood-filled adventure with Kratos on the PSP.

Joystiq reported that a source from Ready at Dawn, the developers behind the enthralling God of War: Chains of Olympus, is hard at work on the next installment. Through grueling searches they will summon forth the biggest and baddest mythic monsters for Kratos to fight. And through long sleepless nights they'll even find that comfy spot on the couch to properly audition the perfect slave girls.

Ready at Dawn apparently received new dev. kits in late 2008 after the gods at Sony ordered a sequel. The PSP game will most likely be ready in early 2010, right around the time of its big brother God of War III's launch.

The Sony gods are smiling on us afterall.
