G-Force Storms onto PSP July 21

Hollywood Producer Jerry Bruckheimer (Pirates of the Carribean, Armageddon) is bringing his first 3D film to the big screen. G-Force, set to open in theaters on July 24th, is a comedy adventure featuring pint-sized super spies who literally become guinea pigs for a secret government espionage program. Armed with the latest high-tech spy equipment, these highly trained guinea pigs quickly discover that the fate of the world is in their paws. A video game release on every major platform under the sun (including PSP) will accompany the theatrical opening of the film, and puts the player in the role of main character Darwin and his trusty housefly sidekick Mooch. Popular actors Jon Favreau, Bill Nighy, and Sam Rockwell will reprise their roles from the motion picture and help bring their personalities to characters and in the G-Force video game.

The PSP game is an adventure-platforming-puzzle hybrid, in which players must utilize their size (dis)advantage to solve environmental puzzles and take down foes much bigger than themselves. You are up against a certain Leonard Saber, the evil billionaire who commands an army of obedient robot household appliances. Some of the enemy designs are quite creative and include a malevolent waffle iron, a voracious vacuum cleaner and a crafty water cooler. In addition to a ton of spy gadgets, each of the player characters will be able to use special skills, such as Darwin's hoverpack and Mooch's ability to slow down time, to assist their journey through the game. The video game will feature items and locations not seen in the film, and the PSP version of G-FORCE will feature unique gameplay not seen in its console counterparts.
