'Game&Game World Championship (GNGWC) 2011 ' , a Festival for Gamers All Over the World, to Begin!

'GNGWC 2011', celebrating 6th anniversary this year, is held for 6 months, from June to November, and the final round will be held in G-Star event hall in Busan, Korea, after online preliminaries for the whole world during June and July and finals in 4 countries, Germany (Koln), USA (LA), Thailand (Bangkok), and Korea (Suwon) held between August and October.

The official games for GNGWC 2011 are genuine domestic games made in Korea - SHOT Online by OnNet, ACE Online by MASANGSOFT, and War Rock by Dream Execution Technology. Rank 1, 2, and 3 from each game are given 5,000 dollars, 3,000 dollars, and 1,000 dollars, respectively.

SHOT Online is a community online golf game of full 3D sports RPG. It shows realistic swing by capturing motions of pro golfers from fields and gives an experience like playing golf in real fields. By adopting RPG, users can enjoy nurturing their own characters through step development.

ACE Online, an online full 3D fly shooting MMORPG, is based on methods of battle of fly shooting game and is a new mode of fusion MMORPG with strengths of both fly shooting game and RPG since it has quests according to development system, division of roles, and scenarios.

Through WAR Rock, an online 3D FPS game, users can experience large-scale combat from battlefields that supports diverse boarding equipments of army, navy, and air force, getting out of gun battle in which players have to arm themselves with their weapons. Recently, it's been receiving positive response by adding A.I. mode which emphasizes cooperation among users, and is on service in 40 countries including North America and Europe.

Hyo-Geun Kim, a head of center of KOCCA, said "We hold again global game competition with Korean online games which are on service globally. Through GNGWC which was settled as a festive place for international gamers, we're going to enhance loyalty of existing users and recognition on Korean games, and improve global competitiveness of Korean games continuously".

Now, after all the finals for each region including Thailand and Korea, there's only a final round to go. As finals held in Germany and USA are passing, the atmosphere of GNGWC is getting stronger.

The Grand Final of GNGWC2011 will be held in 'G-Star' in Busan, Korea, on November.
