Who we are
GameFlavor is a network of online publications covering all of the major next-generation video game consoles and handheld gaming devices. Our sites update around-the-clock five days a week, covering everything from upcoming games to hardware advancements to the latest industry gossip. The network is currently undergoing signficant changes, hence the requirement for the new role.

Who we are looking for
Do you have some writing and gaming experience, and are over 18 years old? If so, you might be perfect for writing for GameFlavor. Due to current expansion, the GameFlavor Network, which includes PSP World, PS3 Informer, Wiiland, Xboxist and DS Village, is currently seeking a dynamic Assistant Editor/SEO person to help develop and grow our site network. He/she will also be responsible for posting content and all SEO requirements, and will liaise with the Senior Editor to maximise any SEO potential from content.

• Excellent writing and communication skills, including the ability to write in a range of voices and styles
• Candidates must have minimum 1+ years SEO experience and knowledge of online marketing programs and/or technology, traffic analysis/generation, link building, and emerging media platforms.
• Familiar with online media, and related technologies; online and offline direct marketing
• Experience of CMS tools desirable but not a must
• Please note that basic HTML and photo editing skills are a must
• Computer skills: MS Office, Internet research
• Passionate about writing, SEO and internet marketing
• Self-motivated with a keen enthusiasm for and demonstrable understanding of the Web industry and technologies.

Job Responsibilities
• Contribute strategically to the growth and direction of the network by developing a SEO strategy.
• Other duties and projects as assigned by management
• Repurpose, edit and create site content
