OK, maybe not that many views. But the tactical soccer club simulator from Sega Europe did manage to snag a healthy 165,000 pairs of eyeballs over the previous few days, according to publisher Sega. The company was so impressed with themselves that they issued a press release, pointing out the success of their previous press release (no, we are not making this up).
"It's great to finally be able to announce the new features for the Football Manager series. Making a web TV show to do this was a bit of a gamble, but one that has definitely paid off looking at the stats we've seen so far, and the feedback we've had so far on the new features has been incredibly positive, which is exciting to see." Said Studio Director, Miles Jacobson.
The video shows off a number of new features contained in the updated game, including player transfer rumors and a new graphics engine which can display each match in full 3D.
Football Manager Handheld 2009 for the PSP is set for release on November 14. In the meantime, you can check out the suddenly famous preview video below. The dramatic hamster has also been added for your (endless) amusement.
