First Ushiro PSP Screenshots

What a long way developers have come with their use of the PSP harware. Recent games like God of War: Chains of Olympus and Crisis Core have pushed the system seemingly as far as it could go, with grapics rivalling some of the best-looking PS2 titles. Now, Level 5 appears to have topped even those good-looking games with screens for their upcoming ghost-themed RPG, Ushiro. Much like their previous PSP title, Jeanne d'Arc, the game uses lovely cell-shaded characters on 3D backdrops. But Ushiro has a grittier and more solemn look than the colorful Jeanne d'Arc. Check out the screenshots below, which depict the game's ghostly character in the process of possessing bodies that belong to the living.

Yes, a horror RPG. It's about time. This game will undoubtably be amazing, as well as almost every game coming out on the PSP. I swear, Sony knows what they're doing. I don't know what the DS is gonna do( I have one too, by the way). Keep doing your thing, Level 5. Now all they have to do is annouce Dark Cloud 3. I know no one cares about that series anymore, but...
