First Free Monster Hunter Unite DLC Arrives

One of the cool things about the Monster Hunter franchise on the PSP is that Capcom is quite generous with providing free downloadable updates to the games long afte their release. The same is true for Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, which gets is frist downloadable quest called "Triumvirate of Sands" this weekend.

In order to access this new content, all you have to do is load up the game on your PSP, and then click Download at start menu. You'll need a wireless connection to connect, and you'll go to the bonus page. From there you can hit download to grab your new quest.

In this new quest, Triumvirate of Sands, you'll have three monsters to take on out in the desert: a Daimyo Hermitaur, Tigrex, and Plesioth! Yikes! But it's well worth it as you stand a chance to make 12300z for your efforts! Don't forget to bring along tons of cold drinks, our you won't last long in the heat. Another thing to keep in mind with Epic Hunting Quests is that once you slay each of the monsters, you'll only carve mega potions. The rewards at the end will give you items from the monsters you were hunting, but throughout the quest you'll need to rely on the mega potions you carve from the monsters and your team mates to stay alive.

And remember, this is all free! Capcom tells us to expect new Epic Hunting Quest to hit every Friday in the upcoming months.
