Explore PSP World and the GameFlavor Network

The blog you are currently reading is part of the GameFlavor network, a community of websites devoted to all of the major video game consoles (PS3, PSP, Xbox 360, Wii and DS). We also have a forum community and central news feed which can be accessed at www.gameflavor.com. It is a great place to get all of your gaming news conveniently in one place, especially if you own more than one system. We also have a major presence in social media, with a YouTube channel for hot new game trailers, a Facebook community site and a frequently updated twitter feed.

GameFlavor began life as a single blog, PSP World back in 2005. That site was in the right place at the right time, garnering a huge readership as hype over the impending launch of Sony's handheld game system grew. The PSP World forums became a lively hub for speculation about the new device, and that community was folded into the new GameFlavor forums when the site branched out to cover other consoles.

In 2006, we launched sister sites Xboxist.com and PS3Informer.com to complement our PSP coverage. The network gradually grew, but it wasn't until 2009 that we really started to expand.

In 2009, we proudly launched a new Nintendo portal, in recognition of the fact that the Wii and DS each control more than half of the total market share in both portable and console gaming. Our new site, The Red Shell, brings together news, reviews and commentary on both systems in one convenient place. We figure that no matter what happens in the future, Nintendo's handheld and console machines will maintain a close relationship in terms of game franchises and target audience.

Our new website design allows readers to quickly see everything that is going on with their favorite gaming console in one place. Clicking on the "related posts" widget at the bottom of any article will take you to further information on the same topic. You can also see a quick rundown of all the day's news by clicking on the 'News" tab in the top navigation bar.
