Electronic Arts released details today on their upcoming FIFA 07 title, due to hit a variety of gaming platforms, including the PlayStation Portable, on October 3. The game includes licenses for all the world's top leagues, including MLS and Mexican 1st Division in North America, and 26 others from over 20 nations. One big feature being touted by EA is the Interactive Leagues mode, a new online function that lets gamers pit their team against supporters of real-world opponents. The online interactive leagues feature the F.A. Premier League, Bundesliga, French League and the Mexican 1st Division.

FIFA 07, being developed by EA Canada, will also include features like new intelligent A.I., an overhaul of the game engine, signature moves of players, the ability to put topspins or backspins to the ball and a manager mode with connectivity to a PS2 “to begin your managerial career on either console and continue your campaign anywhere”.
