Eidos recently announced that it will be distributing the realistic billiards simulator, Gone Wild Pocket Pool in North America, exclusively on the PlayStation Portable.

Eidos has signed a publishing agreement with Conspiracy for its billiards simulation video game, Pocket Pool. With advanced AI and real world physics make Gone Wild Pocket Pool the most realistic simulator on the market. The game features 13 scintillating pool games including 9 ball, 8 ball Rotation, Black Jack and Snooker. Eidos certainly seems to understand its audience, as a player's success in the pool halls will be rewarded by some unlockable babe-a-licious videos and pixel-perfect image galleries of "Dream Models" taken by the web's premier glamour photographer J. Stephen Hicks.

Sirus Ahmadi, president of Conspiracy Entertainment, said, "Eidos is a publisher with an outstanding track record of video game releases including Lara Croft Tomb Raider and Hitman. We are very excited to benefit from Eidos' established distribution network and expertise in launching the hottest new video games. Together, our companies are well-positioned to capitalize on the rapidly-growing video gaming audience throughout North America."

"Eidos has a strong distribution background that positions us favorably to quickly capture sales beginning in the second quarter of 2007," said Keith Tanaka, chief financial officer of Conspiracy Entertainment.

"Pocket Pool is a game that can stand alone as a realistic billiard simulator, however sprinkle in some sex appeal and now you have a true gaming treat," said Robert Lindsey of Eidos. Kevin McGill, Eidos's marketing manager expanded on this, stating that "the PlayStation Portable is a great handheld platform for mature audiences. Pocket Pool is a game designed to tap into the desires of a dominant male audience, providing players with a fun and sexy gameplay experience."

Pocket Pool is due out on store shelves on April 18, and is rated M by the ESRB for sexual themes and partial nudity.
