EA PSP numbers show sales gain over last year

EA announced yesterday its first fiscal quarter 2007 numbers. In addition to their net revenue being up by 13 percent, some numbers were broken out by platform. For the PSP, the platform revenue total was $37 million, which was a year over year increase of 12 percent. As a percentage of the total net revenue, PSP revenue equaled approximately nine percent of the total value of $413 million. These numbers put the Sony portable gaming device significantly above related numbers for the Nintendo DS and Game Boy Advance.
