The Entertainment Software Association today in effect killed the E3 we have all come to know and love as they announced plans to evolve the gaming expo “into a more intimate event focused on targeted, personalized meetings and activities”. The new event, which is still being thought out, will still happen in LA and “focus on press events and small meetings with media, retail, development, and other key sectors”. This roughly translates into “no more glitzy booths and no more booth babes”. What’s the world coming to?
