Does Sony PS Vita Suffer From Glitches, Or Is It A Hoax

The Sony PS Vita launched in Japan just last week and shortly after its launch, there were numerous reports that the brand new handheld console was suffering from man glitches. Now, it appears, this may have all been a hoax.

The Sony PS Vita launched to widespread success across Japan, selling through over 320,000 units in its first few days of release.

Once it got into the hands of gamers though, reports quickly emerged that there were several problems, including one where a Sony PS Vita would end up with a frozen screen on numerous occassions.

Issues with powering the handheld off and on were also reported on as a potential glitch with the handheld.

Sony has come out firing back though, and is claiming that there are no such issues with the new next-gen Sony PS Vita handheld.

The electronic giant has been hit hard by hackers and such over the year, with numerous attacks on the PlayStation Network, and now it appears the Sony PS Vita as well.

Sony press representatives have sounded off loudly and proudly that there is no such proof on their end that any of the alleged glitches are actually true.

Sony has since issued a firmware update for the handheld, and by doing so they may have quietly fixed any issues that were present with the Sony PS Vita.

You have to start to wonder thouh, who is telling the truth. Are gamers making up stories, or is Sony trying to hide a faulty launch of the Sony PS Vita?
