Cyber Monday PSP Deals: PSP Go for $149

Cyber monday is here, and for online shoppers eager to avoid the crowded malls, we've got some fabulous deals on the Sony PSP system and games. There has never been a better time to jump in to Sony's world of handheld gaming. Its 4-year-old device has dropped significantly in price since it was first released, it now has a huge library of games, including some outstanding exclusives, and it looks set to continue to get great releases throughout 2011. For gamers bored with their Nintendo DS consoles and looking to try something different this year, a PSP would make an excellent gift under the tree.

For those of you who have been on the fence over the PSP Go, Amazon today has an insanely good offer. You can get the PSP Go handheld and three free downloadable games for only $149 USD. That's cheaper than the regular price of the PSP 3000, for arguably better equipment. The PSP Go comes with 16 GB of on-board memory for games, music and movies. It also has a nicer screen than the older PSP models. The games included in this bundle are SOCOM, Ratchet and Clank, and LittleBigPlanet PSP. We get the feeling that Amazon is clearing out stock, and this deal is likely to last only for the rest of the day while supplies last.

It's not just hardware on sale today, but games as well. Any PSP owner owes it to themselves to play Sega's latest two exclusive games for the system. The amazing mulitplayer RPG Phantasy Star Portable 2 and the gorgeous and action-packed Valkyria Chronicles 2 are both on sale for only $29.99. For a genuinely fun adventure game suitable for younger gamers, you could try
Ben 10 PSP
, now reduced to $15.99.
