European gamers can't get enough of the Final Fantasy VII spinoff from Square Enix. The game continued to dominate the sales charts in the UK this week, beating out other contenders for the top position which included Wall-E and olympic games pretender "International Athletics". Games from Sony-owned studios continued to perform well, with God of War: Chains of Olympus and Secret Agent Clank holding their own in the top ten.
Unfortunately, game releases are looking pretty thin in the coming weeks, so there are unlikely to be many changes on the charts in the near future. We will probably have to wait until September before there is any chance of de-throning Crisis Core, when Star Wars: The Force Unleashed arrives on the PSP.
