Contents of Peacewalker TGS Demo

At the Tokyo Game Show this year, Konami will be handing out a demo of its highly-anticipated PSP game, Metal Gear Solid: Peacewalker. The publisher has now revealed what will be included in the demo, which will be distributed via wireless download exclusively to conference attendees.

In order to access the demo, players will need to stop by the Konami booth during the show with a fully charged PSP and 200 MB of free space on their memory sticks. The demo can then be downloaded to the PSP and will boot provided that the user has also upgraded to the most recent firmware (6.0 or above).

Included in the demo are three levels. The first, a basic training stage, is intended to familiarize beginner players with the controls and general input of the game. A second level called 'Neutralize the Stronghold' is a bit more action packed. Here, 1-2 players will be asked to sneak around an enemy base taking out guards. It is listed as having an 'intermediate difficulty level'. Finally, a third level will throw 1-4 players into a cooperative battle against a heavily armored tank. This stage is described by Konami as difficult. Will the tank battle play out the way it did in the first gameplay trailer?

It sounds like the TGS Peacewalker demo contains a lot of content and will give us a pretty good sense of what Kojima is on about with his dreams of co-op espionage action. Look for more details at PSP World once we have a chance to try out the demo.

You could try going solo against that tank, but Kojima would like you to bring along some friends.
