Box Art Extravaganza: LittleBigPlanet, Jak & Daxter

Two upcoming PSP games got the official boxart reveal today. LittleBigPlanet features the same play-create-share concept as its console big brother, and will launch on November 17th. The only discernible difference we can find between the handheld and the PS3 version is that there is only one layer of perspective on the PSP, as opposed to 3 layers of movement in the console game. That could explain why the box design for the two games is also very similar.

Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier is another potential hit of the fall, launching for the PS2 and PSP on November 3. The game features the same action platforming gamers are used to, and mixes things up with some entertaining flying sections. We can't wait to try these games out, but we will probably be opting for the download-only versions on our PSP Go. Still, we feel a slight twang of nostalgia for the UMD format after seeing these snazzy box art pictures.
