Black Ops Dominates UK Video Game Charts

The British have different, but predictable tastes in video games. Like the Americans, they love their first-person shooters. As evidence of that, this past week the hit Call of Duty: Black Ops remained the top seller in the UK. Assassin's Creed and Need for Speed also put in impressive sales numbers. But the British also love their soccer (sorry, football) and for that reason FIFA 11 continues to do well over there. After that, however, things get downright freaky. Apparently when they are not putting bullet holes in each other or settling their disputes on the football pitch, the Brits love them some casual Nintendo party games. Wii Party and the inexplicably popular Just Dance 2 are strong performers on the UK chart, below.
